It appears very likely that the CFP (College Football Playoffs) will add 4 additional teams within the next two seasons.  Recent meetings held in New Orleans over the past week made one thing perfectly clear.  That the SEC and Big10 are the real power brokers when it comes to college football decisions being made.  Both conferences feel very assured that they each will be getting four of their conference teams in the CFP once the field is expanded to 16.  Whether fans or universities agree or not doesn’t seem to matter.  Understandably so, when you consider that 18 of the last 20 National Championships have been won by either current SEC or current Big10 teams, with only Clemson representing the ACC winning 2 in that span.  Stay tuned  because one thing is always for sure and that is that something will always change in life and in college football.
