Wildcats Football

Kentucky’s football program, established in 1892, competes in the Southeastern Conference (SEC). The Wildcats have appeared in 23 bowl games, winning 12. Legendary coach Bear Bryant had a successful stint at Kentucky in the 1940s and 50s.

Scratch and The Wildcat 

Kentucky’s mascots include The Wildcat, a costumed figure representing school pride, and Scratch, a more playful and animated version.
