UCLA is #1

UCLA Football Is Rolling: Bruins Rise to No. 1 in the Super 64.club Rankings Five straight victories, an explosive offense, and a defense delivering in big moments have UCLA making a major statement in the 2026 college football season. The UCLA Bruins are off to a spectacular 5–0 start, and their season reached a new high point on October 10 with a dramatic 17–15 road victory over No. 13 Oregon at Autzen Stadium. The win strengthened UCLA's growing reputation as one of the most dangerous teams

A perfect start to the season UCLA has found different ways to win through its first five games:

UCLA 45, California 24: The Bruins opened the season with a strong road victory over their California rivals. UCLA 28, San Diego State 10: UCLA followed with a solid defensive performance at the Rose Bowl. UCLA 52, Purdue 38: The Bruins showcased their offensive firepower in a high-scoring victory. UCLA 54, Maryland 3: UCLA delivered its most dominant defensive performance of the season, overwhelming Maryland on the road. UCLA 17, Oregon 15: In their biggest test yet, the Bruins went into Eugene and defeated a ranked Oregon team in a tense Big Ten battle. Through those five games, UCLA has scored 196 points, an average of 39.2 per game, while allowing just 90 points, or 18 per game. That combination of scoring power and defensive consistency has made the Bruins a formidable opponent.

The Oregon victory changes the conversation The win over Oregon may prove to be a defining moment in UCLA's season. Playing in one of college football's toughest road environments, the Bruins held their nerve and came away with a two-point victory.

Running back Wayne Knight scored a rushing touchdown and caught a touchdown pass, while the defense made a crucial stand against Oregon's late two-point conversion attempt. UCLA also recorded seven takeaways, including five recovered fumbles, in a remarkable defensive effort.

The victory was especially significant because UCLA had not won at Oregon's Autzen Stadium since 2004. It also gave head coach Bob Chesney a 5–0 start in his UCLA tenure.

No. 1 in the Super 64.club rankings UCLA's place at No. 1 in the Super 64.club rankings reflects the strength of its results so far. The Super 64.club system evaluates teams through game results and performance-based scoring, rewarding offensive production, defensive stops, turnovers and the difficulty of winning against Super 64 opponents.

UCLA has put together a résumé featuring convincing wins, a dominant defensive shutout performance and a signature road victory against a ranked opponent. The win over Oregon is the kind of result that can separate a good season from a potentially special one.

The Super 64.club ranking is a custom ranking system, distinct from the national Associated Press poll. In the latest AP poll released October 11, UCLA climbed to No. 12 nationally after its victory over Oregon.

Can the Bruins keep it going? The challenge now is maintaining that momentum. UCLA's upcoming schedule includes Wisconsin, Michigan State, Nevada, Minnesota, Illinois, Michigan and rival USC. Those games will test the Bruins' consistency and determine whether they can sustain their position at the top of the Super 64.club rankings.

For now, UCLA has every reason to be confident. The Bruins are undefeated, they have shown they can win both shootouts and defensive battles, and they have already proved they can beat a ranked opponent on the road.

Five games down. Five victories. No losses. And No. 1 in the Super 64.club rankings.

The Bruins have made their statement. Now the rest of college football has to respond.
